Flynn Management & Contractors are delighted to announce the opening of our Regional Office in Limerick.
Over the last 5 years, 20% of our turnover has been carried out in the Western Region – from Donegal down to Cork, where we have worked for key clients such as Aviva Investors, KBC Bank, O2, Three Ireland, Failte Ireland, Fields Jewelers, Randox Laboratories & Shannon Airport. Opening a new regional office, with a highly experienced local based team will allow us to better serve our clients, as well as continuing to maintain the quality of our project work and services.
The new office will be headed up by our newly appointed Director, Derek Murphy and supported by our new Commercial Manager, Willie O’Brien.
Derek Murphy
Derek has over 20 years’ experience in the Construction Sector. Previous to joining Flynn Management & Contractors as Director in 2015, Derek was Finance Director with London based Main Contractors Quinn London Ltd who worked across all sectors for both public bodies and private clients.
Derek joined the company from its inception and played a key role in the strategic planning & growth of the company, where on leaving, its turnover was £50m+ and employed over 150 employees. He has been working in a consultancy role with Flynn Management for the last 10 years, and we are delighted to have him on board as a Director of the company on a full time basis
Willie O’Brien
Willie brings a vast amount of Commercial, Estimating & Procurement experience. Prior to joining the Flynn Management Team in June 2015, he was a key member of Structure Tone Ltd in Ireland for over 10 years.
Whilst with Structure Tone he was heavily involved in some of the most prestigious projects completed for blue chip Clients such as Google, Facebook and Paypal to mention but a few. Willie also played a major management role in mission critical Data Centre projects for InterXion & Telecity Group. Such projects would have executed under various contract types; from Lump Sum, Design & Build and Management Contracting. Before joining Structure Tone, Willie worked as a PQS for Nolan Ryan Partnership for over 5 years between their Kilkenny & Limerick offices.
