Over the past 10 years, Flynn Management & Contractors Ltd has developed a team of highly skilled and educated personnel, whose experience in the industry spans over a diverse range of sectors in the industry.

The individual competencies of our team is combined with our integrated management structure which ensures our client delivery standards are among the highest in the industry. Our quality approach begins with our own personnel to ensure our investment in our team members is reciprocated to the client through the ideals and standards we create through the company philosophy.

Kevin Flynn

Managing Director

Kevin is co – founder of Flynn Management & Contractors Ltd and is responsible for all aspects of Construction Management with a particular focus on the commercial side of the business. Kevin has worked in the industry for more than 30 years and his experience has resulted in a very strong client base and order book, ensuring the business remains on a very strong financial footing, enabling us to put in place financial guarantee bonds for our clients where required on large projects. Kevin has overseen the rapid growth of the company in the past three years by ensuring that the high quality principle of the Flynn brand is communicated throughout the organisation

Mick Flynn

Construction Director

As one of the founding directors of Flynn Management & Contractors, Mick has been intrinsically involved in the growth of the company, building the business into the successful quality and service provider that it is today.  Mick is the driving force behind all construction operations undertaken by the company. He provides the leadership required to successfully complete the diverse range of projects that make up the Flynn Management & Contractors company portfolio. His proven experience along with his ethos for excellence in quality, safety and delivery has established a valuable reputation in the industry which is reflected in the high levels of repeat business among many of Ireland’s leading companies. He is responsible for a large variety of mission critical projects and clients including; Google, The Dublin Airport Authority, Twitter, Commission for Energy Regulation, Aviva Investors, Eircom, Fáilte Ireland, LinkedIn, and more.

Derek Murphy

Regional Director

Derek Murphy has over 20 years’ experience in the Construction Sector. Previous to joining Flynn Management & Contractors as Director in 2015, Derek was Finance Director with London based Main Contractors Quinn London Ltd who worked across all sectors for both public bodies and private clients. Derek joined the company from its inception and played a key role in the strategic planning & growth of the company, where on leaving, its turnover was £50m+ and employed over 150 employees. He has been working in a consultancy role with Flynn Management for the last 10 years, and is now a Director of the company on a full time basis. Derek is based in our Regional Office in Limerick/

Cormac McKenna

Contracts Manager

Cormac joined Flynn Management & Contractors in 2009 as Contracts Manager and brings with him a wealth of experience, working in Commercial, Retail, Infrastructural, Life Science and Healthcare sectors. Upon joining Flynn management & Contractors, Cormac was tasked with the completion of the DAA Terminal 2 Builders Work package which he delivered successfully. Cormac has a proven track record in the successful delivery of mission critical projects in Dublin Airport, Shannon Airport and Cork Airport. Cormac will provide leadership and guidance to our Project Team and act as a key team member.

Eddie Cassidy

Contracts Manager

Eddie joined Flynn Management & Contractors in 2014 as Contracts Manager. With almost 20 years’ experience in working with top tier companies in the construction industry and managing many high profile clients, Eddie brings a wealth of knowledge in managing diverse and complex projects. Eddie has a proven track record in the successful delivery of mission critical projects and provides leadership and guidance to our team. Eddie places a strong emphasis on performance, quality, teamwork and a “hands-on” management approach to ensure client satisfaction.

William O’Brien

Commercial Manager

William recently joined the company to oversee the Estimating and Procurement Departments. William carries a wide range of experience from high end interior fit outs, hi tech sector and also in general contracting. William is also one of the leading professionals in Construction Management contracts in Ireland and his experience would ensure the successful and timely buyout and procurement of any such project. William is a Qualified Chartered Quantity Surveyor and has responsibility for Estimating and the buying of goods and services for all projects. He liaises with the Project Managers, Surveying department and the Client’s design team to ensure that all aspects of the project are captured and meet the exacting requirements of the project.

Aubyn Thompson

Preconstruction & Services Lead

Aubyn joined Flynn Management & Contractors from Structuretone in 2014 and leads the Technical Services Team from inception stage and provides planning and technical support to the project teams whilst assisting with the initial project master planning to support the technical team. Aubyn has overseen the development of relationships of key blue chip clients such as Google, Twitter, Aviva Investors among others. As part of his previous role with Structuretone he assisted developing the Mission Critical Division within StructureTone, both locally and internationally and also delivered Interxion Data Centre as a Project Leader. 

Keith Sutton

Senior Quantity Surveyor

Keith joined Flynn Management & Contractors Ltd in 2006 as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor with responsibility for day to day cost management of the company’s project portfolio. In his time with the company he has progressed to a senior surveying position. Involved with all aspects of estimating he also has sole responsibility for management of the medium to larger scale company projects reporting to company directors. Additionally, Keith delegates projects and maintains a watching brief over junior surveyors within the organisation.

Gerard Hoare

Contracts Manager

Gerard is an internationally experienced construction professional with over 16 years of experience across various facets of the industry, from mechanical services to high end interior fit out. He has extensive contractual and commercial expertise in a variety of contract formats, in addition to wide-ranging project operation and management knowledge, obtained through working in numerous geographically diverse locations.
